MX-5 Maruha Mahle Piston Set for 87mm Stroke
The standard forged piston from MAHLE (85.50 mm at BP) has a new specification with a pin height shortened by 1 mm.
Material: MAHLE uses materials that can suppress the thermal expansion of the 4032 series, and the original slide ring and graphite coating are the same as before.
Regardless of the forging type, the tight clearance improves smoothness, and the pronounced profiles and coating on the piston skirt significantly reduce friction.
In the roadster market, MARUHA's customized MAHLE pistons are widely used in Japan and overseas.
This piston is specially matched to the 87-mm long-stroke crankshaft introduced in '2021.
